Arctic Circle

Today I needed to go visit my sister and get the pictures she took at Boston's Birthday Party. She was going out to lunch with my sister-in-law and invited me to come along too. Boston was glad to see Jacqueline, he had to sit right next to her (they kept taking each others' fries). Anyway, here are some goofy pictures of the event. Oh, and this is the first time I ordered something specifically for Boston - his first Kid's Meal! I got the mini corndogs for him, he liked the corn bread part, but I think all of the hotdog pieces ended up on the floor.

Splash Pad Fun

I was so excited to go to the splash pad. We went once last year, but Boston was only a couple of months old, so he didn't really get to enjoy it. This time, he was excited at first, then was kind of iffy about it, then the last two times we got into the water, he REALLY LOVED it! I'm sure he will be way excited when we get to go back. Next time I will have to remember to have someone else put sunblock on my back, because I didn't get it good enough by myself and am now dealing with the pain of my foolishness - I hate being sunburned.

Memorial Day Continued

So, after the aquarium we stopped by a little park in Sandy and had a picnic. The weather was great and I was glad I made lunch rather than eating out.

Then we came home, Boston napped and Zariph finished installing a new chandelier in our entryway. Then we went to a BBQ at a neighbors house. Boston made some new friends! They were so cute with him, and he loved this little playhouse.And here is our cute family picture of the three of us in our matching shirts. (We'll probably have a similar picture for the 4th of July-stay tuned.)

The Aquarium

For Memorial Day, we decided to go down to the aquarium in Sandy. It was pretty cool. It had lots of cool murals painted on the walls and the tanks were decorated pretty neat. Boston loved it! He would squill in delight when he first saw the fish. He was sometimes afriad of the fish, it was cute!

Boston's First Birthday

We had Boston's Birthday Party last Saturday. It was fun. We grilled hamburgers and had family bring the side dishes. The food was great! I think Boston had a lot of fun, although it doesn't really look like it from the pictures. Hopefully, other people got some good pictures. It was such nice weather, it was a perfect day. I made the cake. It was my first time making something creative out of the cake. It turned out okay. Enjoy the pictures.

TEETH!!!

When I was feeding Boston lunch after church last Sunday I noticed two little white things sticking out from his bottom gums! What I thought was a reaction to missing his binky (whining and sticking his fingers in his mouth) must have been him teething. It wasn't so bad, I hope he's that good with the rest of his teeth.
