The Melting Pot

Last Friday night we met my family in Salt Lake. We planned on meeting at the lights at Temple Square and then going to The Melting Pot for dessert afterwards. But traffic was horrible and we couldn't find a place to park. The rest of my family saw the lights, but Zariph, Boston, and I just looked from our car :) But we still met up for dessert afterwards. It was YUMMY!

Eliza wanted to make a funny face for the camera.

Lindsay's a goofball!

How inappropriate! (She was just kidding)

Julie, Hannah, and Eliza

This picture cracks me up, Boston has the funniest look on his face!

All gone! It was soooo good. We got two pots at our table-Milk Chocolate Cookies and Cream and Dark Chocolate with Peanut Butter. I loved the selection of dippers - brownies, strawberries, bananas, rice krispie treates, cheesecake, marshamellows...I'm starting to get hungry.

Christmas Time

Last Saturday we took Boston to see Santa. I was really wanting a picture with Boston and Santa. I'm glad Boston smiled cute, I just wish Santa looked a little happier! This week I've been busy making cards. Here's what I have finished so far...
There's five of each design. Zariph helped me send the cards through the printer, so inside we printed a message and a picture.

And here's our little eater! This week Boston has been a little whiny, usually he's so happy. So I wasn't sure if he was teething or getting sick or what. I was feeding him a whole container of the 2nd baby foods, twice a day with three bottles of 7 oz each daily. I thought that was plenty. But he was happiest right after he ate the baby food. So, I think he was just hungry, I've had to bump up to three containers of baby food per day! He's no longer happy with just a bottle. He's a growing boy!
Yesterday, I fed him while I ate lunch. Usually, he keeps pretty clean, but while I was taking bites of my food, he managed to get his hand in his mouth and rub it all over his face. What a funny boy...

Thanksgiving Trip

For Thanksgiving we went to Zariph's sister, Misty's, house in Colorado. Zariph was able to take the whole week off from work, so we were down there all week. It was fun just relaxing and hanging out. We went to Roy's parents house for our Thanksgiving meal. Then we came back to Misty's for dessert and craft time. We made the cute wood blocks (thanks Mindy for the idea!). Even Saphire and Destiny were able to make a wood block without too much help. Then Friday morning we left the house at 4 a.m. to shop on Black Friday. We took Boston with us because Zariph and Roy were going skiing all day. But, as usual, Boston was great! He would whine a little when he was hungry, but other than that he would just sleep in the stroller, or smile and laugh at people as they were shopping. Our first stop was Kohl's, where we waited in line for about an hour. Then we went to Walmart (after it was open for about an hour) so it wasn't too crazy. Then we went to Michael's. Then to the Mall for Sport's Authority, Target, and Herberger's. I got almost all of my shopping done! We got home about noon. Then we all took a nap for a few hours. It was a fun trip.
